Description

With the DONIC Desto First, you achieve the perfect entry into table tennis. The rubber is a balanced allround rubber that offers the right mix of speed and control. Soft, sensitive, and very easy to control, it supports you in developing your ball feeling and learning stroke techniques. Desto First is available in two sponge thicknesses:

1.8 mm for beginners – ideal for maximum control and easy learning of techniques, and
2.0 mm for advanced players – offers slightly more speed without losing control.

Innovation for more feel – GO technology

The GO concept from DONIC was developed to optimally support beginners and children in learning table tennis strokes. From the very beginning, the right material should be used according to the playing level. The GO concept combines several coordinated core elements that make learning technique easier and faster.

The two GO rubber technologies AirGO-FX and GO2Spin are also based on the core idea of making the start in table tennis easier. It is adapted to the different learning stages in table tennis and forms the basis for your future playing system.

The AirGO-FX technology combines the pink, porous control sponge (Purple2GO-CTRL) with 37.5° hardness and slightly longer, flexible pimples. This creates a soft, sensitive ball contact, allowing you to feel every ball precisely. At the same time, the sponge is elastic enough to enable the necessary speed.

The GO2Spin surface offers a grippy, slightly tacky topsheet that is specifically adapted for beginners and learning players. The ball does not slip but couples cleanly, enabling reliable spin, secure ball feeling, and fast learning progress. The perfect coordination of sponge and topsheet makes the rubber especially easy2play and supports beginners in achieving quick success experiences.

Well-thought-out overall concept

In combination with the DONIC Zentra blades and the follow-up rubber Desto Next, an overall concept was developed that provides beginners and advanced players with optimal conditions for learning table tennis from the very beginning.

The follow-up rubber Desto Next plays harder (42.5° sponge), more direct, and more spin-oriented than the Desto First. It helps you take the next step – especially if you are already somewhat more advanced and your technique is already more developed.
